Thanks for the sub! There’s so much to explore in Sedona, you definitely need more than one trip to see and do everything!

Such a beautiful area. It kind of reminds me of Chimney Rock up here. I can’t wait to start hiking all the trails down there.

Cool I’ll definitely check hay out as well. Ya definitely no more hiking in the winter and snow for me lol. I’ve done plenty of hiking during winter and hunting season. I’ve hiked through plenty of deep snow. I’m ready to do some hiking in Az!

I forgot Humphrey’s Peak in Flagstaff. That’s a good one and is the highest natural point in Arizona. If you are used to steep climbs you should be able to handle that. Just don’t go in the winter or early spring. It can get very windy and lots of snow during that time.

Arizona Dreamz Cool thanks so much for sharing the info! I’ve hiked quite a bit here in Co and of course they are steep mountain trails that go up in elevation. I’m sure I’ll have to get used to the climate and altitude change.

The Sedona trails seem to be pretty easy to navigate and of course scenic. Bell Rock…Cathedral Rock (though that involved a little climbing so if you have any knee issues you might want to skip that one). Red Mountain Trail in Flagstaff. Papago Park trails and the Judith Tunnell Accessible Trail if you’re in looking to hike in the Phoenix Valley.

Oh I’m sure I will! One of the main reasons why I’m moving down there is because of all the awesome places to hike year around. Plenty of outdoor opportunities year around. Not to mention I don’t think you have to worry about bears and mountain lions down there. What trails would you recommend someone to start with first?
